Once again, Markel Insurance Company have teamed up with Mike “Baron of the Backstretch” Penna and the Horse Racing Radio Network to be Title Sponsor on the September 5 Broadcast of the 2009 Woodward Stakes (G1).

A stellar field includes Stephen Foster (G1) Winner MACHO AGAIN, Whitney Handicap (G1) Winner BULLSBAY, 2008 Belmont Stakes (G1) Winner DA'TARA and, of course, the super filly RACHEL ALEXANDRA.
